This course is designed for anyone involved in the manual handling of glass, from a new employee through to an experienced operative requiring a refresher on the latest processes.
The aim is to help identify the risks involved in glass manual handling and subsequently how to safely carry out the movement of glass.

  • Types of glass overview.
  • How and why glass breaks.
  • PPE for glass handling.
  • Glass storage and transportation.
  • Glass lifting and carrying equipment.
  • Recommendations for safe glass manual handling.

Our classroom practical course will have hands on exercises covering:
  • Moving, loading and transportation​
  • Any bespoke requirements relating to glass manual handling

Full day course in a classroom with hands on practical - £160.00 + VAT
Remote (Online) 4 hour, knowledge only course - £80.00 + VAT

Note - Our remote courses are similar to a normal classroom course which has a set time/date, however you will attend via an online portal. You will be lead by a tutor, asked to participate in answering questions and providing information in order to complete the course.
