This qualification is suitable for a wide range of people including those new into or considering entering the window and doors installation industry. It is also ideal for those who have limited knowledge and would like to know more about the industry.

This course covers the following topics:
- The Principles of Health and Safety in window and door Installation
- Knowledge of the movement and storage of window and door installation materials on a work site
- Knowledge of tools and equipment used in the installation of windows and doors
- Knowledge of window and door components and fixings (with practical)
- Knowledge of the principles of working at heights in the installation of windows and doors
- Knowledge of glass and glazing (with practical)
- Knowledge of fixings and methods used in the installation of windows and doors (with practical)
- Knowledge of Surveying (with practical)
- Understanding Building regulations
- Writing a Risk assessment (with practical)

We have 2 options for this course, either one would be a good start for your career as a Window and Door Installer.
Note - Our remote courses are similar to a normal classroom course which has a set time/date, however you will attend via an online portal. You will be lead by a tutor, asked to participate in answering questions and providing information in order to complete the course.
- 5 day course in a classroom with hands on practical - £1050.00 + VAT
- Remote (Online) 3 day, knowledge only course - £500.00 + VAT
